Halo 3 - Yaxajax - Lone Wolves - Level 40 MatchX

Lone Wolves on Guardian - This is the match in which I earned my first Level 40 (Lone Wolves). I wasn't doing to well untill the end when I made a come-back with the gravity hammer. I got a frenzy with the majority of the kills earned with the hammer. And I'm an Elite. Recockulous. The other players should be embarrassed, but I am beastly at melees.

I hope you enjoy the double kill in the gold lift with the hammer for my frenzy.

Before anyone asks me, when I get hammered off of the map it changes the view against my will in theater. And yes I know I suck at the beginning - and the middle - and that's why I'm losing 7-13 before I get the hammer. All hail hammer noob tactics. I also had the volume really low on my tv because it was late. Now I use a Skullcandy headset. It's the SGS G.I. model and I hear EVERYTHING. Excellent quality, especially when the low comparative price is considered.

can you do a review on those skullcandy's? I've got a pair of their FMJs and I'm considering that headset, or the turtle beach x1

I too have FMJs. I also have both the Lowrider and GI headsets, and Skullcandy's SGS GIs will get you the most out of your money and won't leave you broke. Additionally, with Skullcandy's warranty, if you break your GIs you can send them in and get 50% of what you paid for them back in the form of online store credit. I have excellent aural perception, and I believe the GIs may be just slightly better than Astro's A40 headset, though I know this remark will be highly contested.

I do like how the A40s are positioned farther away from your ears. The only Turtle Beach model (for Xbox 360, and not counting the HPX model) that may be better than the GIs is the Ear Force X41 model. However, it costs over twice as much. The Ear Force X31s have some great features, but they cost 1.25 times as much, and I believe the sound quality of the GIs is better.

If money is not an issue, I would recommend getting an Astro A40 system solely because you get the mixamp (which is excellent) at a greatly discounted price or getting the Turtle Beach Ear Force X41 model. However, when price is a factor, I believe Skullcandy's SGS GI model will be more than sufficient and will be exceedingly satisfying when reflecting on its reasonable price.
