When asked if 9/11 changed the American foreign policy model to "interventionalism," Rep. Ron Paul answered that it was our pre-9/11 interventionalism — and the "blowback" that ensued — that was to blame for terrorism and the 9/11 attacks. This prompted Rudy Giuliani, who maintains like George Bush that they "hate us for our freedoms," to jump in and demand Paul retract his "absurd" statement.

  • Who is right, Ron or Rudy? A study by The Defense Science Board confirms what Ron Paul says, and the U.S. Dept. of Defense and the Pentagon confirm that study. So Rudy is either ignorant or lying through his teeth.

  • China is much stronger than US and yet it is peaceful and nobody attacks it .

US can only attack small countries and not without help :) They have been talking about attacking Iran for 10 yrs and still have no guts to do it , lol

want to have scalar technology torpedo going 450 miles an hour up your arse ?

  • @ruggerdgmail

China has 200 million people in active service asshole . They can easily deactivate all nuclear weapons by sending and blowing nukes to stratospheric realm

can 2 mil US army fight 200 mil Chinese ? I do not think so .

So do not get mislead how powerful US is . Not so powerful at all .

  • China is also not stronger than the USA Moron.

  • @VivaMydick You do have a good sense of Humor. Perhaps you should tell that to Taiwan. Idiot!

  • @athabascka i agree. I'm sick and tired of all these idiots who think that if we are just nice to them or if we make a sufficient attempt to reach out to them in friendship that they are going to forget their evil ways and learn to love us. Its almost like masochism it seems. Why are people so eager to buy into their own lies? I guess this mindset is the product of Western guilt.

  • Item 3 on al Qaeda's charge against the West is that we actually stopped the genocide and occupation of East Timor by Indonesia. Overthrowing the Shah of Iran has nothing to do with al Qaeda. The Iranians are Shia and al Qaeda are Sunni, they hate each other. And even so, who cares why they hate us? They're a medieval cult of death fighting for the restoration of a despotic theocratic empire. They don't deserve any excuses or sympathy.

  • @VivaMydick dude where did you saw that were stronger... the total gdp may be increasing but it is still low in term of per capita. And regarding their military they are decades behind the us. I an army to army war they would not last long... However chinese foreign policy is non interventionist. Actually they do it in contrast to the us, they can simply say: "look we are better than them we do not bother you" this is how they are gaining influence.

  • Muslims are convinced of the superiority of their culture, and obsessed with the inferiority of their power. One only wishes that Ron Paul was right, but he's not. As long as there are Muslims who think they know exactly how God wants everyone on earth to live (and there are no shortage of that), no amount of isolationism will deter armed conflict between Muslims and Infidels.

  • Ron Paul is the only man in politics which actually speaks the truth. He would make an excellent politician and put the rest to shame. I wish Americans would elect him so that the world can be a safer and better place. Islam is not against women in the work place or freedom! Muslims, like any other peoples, don't like America's foreign policy which is simply unjust. Americans should wake up and realise that what they do overseas matters for America in the future

  • America needs to understand that their unconditional support of Israel, their veto powers always exempting Israel from any international condemnation, their occupation of Muslim countries and the taking of resources and the dictators they support are what fuels hatred against the U.S. Its really not that complicated people. Rudy Giuliani is using fear as a political tool like Bush did for his 2nd term in office. How you treat others is how they'll treat you. Fear=num 1 for controlling minds
