Willie Hightower 'It's A Miracle'.

Chancellor of Soul, Mike Boone presents a R&B gem from one of the most gifted
underrated singers of soul, Willie Hightower, 'It's A Miracle' a 1969 release
on Capitol Records.

Willie Hightower born in 1940 in Gadsden, Alabama , started singing at the
age of 6 in a church choir. A local disc jockey, Shelley Stewart from WENN
radio station, discovered Hightower and became his manager. He contacted
record owner and New York producer, Bobby Robinson and suggested that
he listen to Willie. Both Shelley and Hightower flew to New York and met
with Robinson where he offered a record deal for Willie after he valued Stewart's opinion.

Willie Hightower recorded several classics on Bobby Robinson's imprints
including his first release on Enjoy entitled, 'Too Late' and (Take My Hand)
Let's Walk Together' and Trini Lopez 64' classic hit 'If I Had A Hammer' on
Fury Records.

'It's A Miracle' hit No.33 on Billboard's R&B Singles charts, the week ending
May 10, 1969.
