The Arlington Police Department is seeking assistance from the public with identifying a man believed to have committed at least two recent bank robberies. In the first instance on September 6, 2013, the man entered a bank in the 2200 block of New York Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.

In the second incident on Saturday, September 14, 2013, a man matching the same description as in the first bank robbery entered a bank in the 3900 block of Matlock Road at about 9:30 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money. The clerk complied and as the suspect left the bank and got into a white Honda Odyssey mini-van or SUV a dye pack in the money sprayed red dye on the suspect and possibly his vehicle.

The suspect is believed to be an Asian man at about 45 years old, 5'02" and weighing 130-140 pounds.
