In late 2007, a team of elite Big Wave Surfers volunteered to test a revolutionary new camera system. Their destination: Teahupoo, Tahiti, into heart of one of the heaviest waves known to man. With over twenty pounds strapped to their backs, they made repeated attempts to capture some of the most spectacular footage ever seen inside of a barrel. If successful, the audience would visually experience a wave like never before. Four days later, the biggest swell in years and the entire Big Wave community would descend upon them.... This is a look, INSIDE: Teahupoo.

  • I WANNA SURF THAT ..AND I DONT EVEN SURF

  • bodyboarding is not as dangerous as real surfing, you already lie, the board dont have much weird or isnt hard. if you wipe out the most important is to roll together like a ball in the worst moment and cover your head with your arms. when its over open your eyes and get back to the air and check right away if there is another wave coming. i have been there. its not funny to get sucked into the lip because on the other end they usually push u very deep in the water and if there is a reef....

  • @element303 get over yourself, have you ever heard of dropknee? You obviously havent seen guys ride the wedge either....your just trying to make yourself feel better cause you were always the cook who went straight riding the white water and got made fun of by the groms. If youve got nothin good to say dont say it.

  • i care because i started with bodyboarding and its a hundred levels below surfing real boards and STAND UP. with a boogie board you can take almost every wave. you dont even have to think about how to get up before you wipeout. its a whole different level of surfing with a surfboard and if you dont know that, its simply because you only surfed boogieboard. the board is also not a source of much danger compared to fiberglas or epoxy and if you wipe out, you are already lying in the wave.

  • @element303 your just kidding yourself. Bodyboarding, surfing, who cares??!! your catching a wave and thats what matters.

  • I can make those waves in the bathtub...

  • @FlugFly011 really? you surf 33 foot waves? i dont think thas true. but whatever you say brohan god of surfing fagnugget

  • @FlugFly011 you fucking wish i bet ur not 16 i bet ur a 11 yr old total noob that surfs 2 foot at the most.

  • Nice Nice Nice i Surf in 10 meters waves :D and im 16

  • there is a big difference between tsunamis and these waves.. easiest way to tell, is this kind of wave is a "plunging" whereas tsunamis "surge"
