thanks guys for answering my question! breathe again by sara bareilles it is. i also love baby i need you by kim taylor, song played in harvest/love scene. but my favorite is can't take my eyes off of you by cary brothers, the one played in homecoming, the "i love you" part. I'm back rewatching clois clips so that means i'm missing Smallville a lot :'( thanks to Gem for this clips!

Go watch the pilot episode. Clark is imagining dancing with Lana. She asks him is everything is ok, he says perfect. Can't help wonder if the writers tied it together.
