oil deprivation?

there is a special kind of pump you can use on these bikes that prevents that problem during a wheelie, or so i heard in some SV forum

In the new sv has suzuki shange the olie pikup so it issent a problem whit 2001 plus models

the front cilinder runs dry of oil and kills your crankshaft ,

Suzuki have change the oil pickup on the new models so there its not a big problem to do wheely ,

of course if you do very long wheely's you stil can blow him up,

Nice vid. You probably blew the engine up by pulling wheelies. The SV is not a wheelie friendly bike because the oil pickup is at the front, so when it's on the back wheel the engine gets oil starvation

@holdmycox I'm 6'2" on a 650 and had to do some mods for more leg room.

Is your sv1k comfortable in the legroom department? Do you wear any riding pants, or just jeans and sneakers? I wear aerostich overpants, over a pair of jeans, which causes me to need more legroom, and riding boots don't help.
