  • @hotlikefireee They are algae. P. noctiluca are dinoflagellates which are a group of algae, also known as phytoplankton.

  • yeah, as beautiful as these dinoflagellates blooms are, they're also toxic :p just a warning

  • That is not algae. It's a bioluminescent plankton called noctiluca.
