Thank you all for your comments. I know Mårten is thrilled you share his love of music. My husband was a gifted, and magical musician. It is a year this month since he passed, but his music continues to touch people still. Mårten, you are dearly missed...but I am sure you have a band of angels jamming now...♥ Peg

great!! i just started playing guitar, and am just wondering: how in the world can you just make all of this up on the spot?? is there some kind of secret?

@rawoofikaroofi - No secret, every lick is part of my "vocabulary". After a while you can throw them together in almost any order without really thinking about it. I could not play this piece exactly the same way twice.

hey man this is great. what kind of scales are you improvising in? major pentatonic? E blues?
CharlieLayton 2 years ago
The tune is in A major. I don't think in scales when I play the blues. I play what I have picked up over many years of listening to greats such as BB, Albert & Freddie, Hendrix, Buddy Guy, Mike Bloomfield, Clapton and may others with my own lines mixed in .
