  • Very nice! Did the Dahons handle the heavy rear loads well? What model of Dahon is Rod riding? Looks like a Boardwalk that's been customized with more gears. If so, how did he fit a front derailleur on a Boardwalk? Thanks!

    I believe that Rod is riding a Dahon Speed TR. It does not have a front derailleur. The 21 gears are achieved via a 7 speed cassette on the rear hub and a 3 gears internally in the rear hub. The rear hub is a SRAM DualDrive.
