First created and premiered for Second City's 7 Day Shorts (every week filmmakers from the Second City community have seven days to make a short film based on an audience suggestion). This week's suggestion was "CLUB." It is a film that embodies the tragic story of hope, sung ever-so-sweetly and tone-deafly, and portrayed with sincerity, drama, and constant picture-in-picture fades.

This film is an Awkward State of Mind production, starring Frannie Fruppet, a fun-loving, sweet, naive and awkward yet sassy 20-something year old puppet living in the big city of Chicago. Also, guest-starring two up-and-coming fellow improv/comedy peers Maureen Boyle and Shahin Keihani. Talented camera-work (and appearing here as "Dr. Knife") by James Jarosz. Written, directed, edited by Joanna Kay.
