  • @waiheke109 never seen it before. the guitar is as good as the player.don,t you agree?

  • There's an entire logging sub-industry (so to speak) grown up around retrieving sunken tonewood logs and hardwood logs from anaerobic environments. I have some 25k year-old samples, next to the fossil megalodon teeth, on a bookshelf.

  • Whoops. Slightly distorted, I meant to say.

  • Ahhhh, classic Akkerman, this. The lick at 0:24 is just JUICY. I'm so digging that smooth, thick, distorted sound of his.

  • I know the guy who builds these guitars as he lives around the corner from me, in Auckland, New Zealand. He let me play one of his Langcasters and I can tell you it's a great guitar!

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN There's one on Ebay right now going for $2200 or $2900 or something like that. No bids on it yet but it's up in an hour. Maybe it'll get relisted. I know I couldn't afford it.
