This is what happens when you drill 3 3/8 of an inch holes into the end of your stock Yamaha Vino 125 scooters muffler. Even louder, even better acceleration.

  • can i do that with a roketa 150cc? basically a GY6 motor?

  • @916decker

At your own risk. I know that it works with the Vino 125 and i've heard of similar results with the Zuma 125.

  • i have a four stroke scooter where exactly do you drill the hole(s) in the rear of the muffler? thx

  • @916decker

See those 3 large holes on the end? They go straight into the end of the exhaust.

  • @alleyvonfrankencat This is really cool! I HAVE A stock 09 VINO 125 and i would like to do this. Would i have to rejet the carburator any or do anything to the engine? Or should i just drill the holes and ride without any worries? Also do you think this procedure will cause any damage to the engine down the line cause i ride this scoot alot and with a passenger?

  • @gardentractor I didn't upjet when I did this and it ran fine. Although if you're at a higher elevation you may have to. It won't hurt your engine over time.

  • I just did this to my 49cc 2 stroke honda spree butbi only put one small engine will i have any problems

  • @916decker you have to upjet if it's a 4T motor or you with blow the engine

  • How deep into the muffler did you drill?

  • It's possible. I've heard of a couple people doing it to there Zuma 125's and they're fuel injected. They didn't say they got a huge change in performance though. Best thing you can do for a C3 is change out to a DrPulley variator and slider weights.
