  • For Sir Edward Elgar!

No. I have no CD of the organ at the RFH for sale.

The point was to provide an opportunity to hear the organ in it's original condition, which is an impossibility otherwise, from what I can understand.

  • @lazinov Oh, you're trying to sell CDs. How clever of you.

  • Anyone want to hear the organ in its original state?

A perfect, unique recording in fact.

    Sound sample available here occds.org

  • @MrManielx2 They bloody are. Remember, you're not entitled to your opinion, you're entitled to your INFORMED opinion. Listen to the whole work before shitting on it. Obviously, I only know about this song from The Shadow Line, and that is probably quite shameful, but I'm going to investigate all of Emily Barker's stuff now.

  • @wuzzlevideos People are arseholes :( Guess it makes them feel superior. I love this piece, and the song from which it originates.

  • If you people commenting on this video had heard the song in question, maybe you'd understand why it works in context.

  • played barefoot?

  • The mixtures on this organ were always controversial so care is needed to play this instrument. Thank God barely one third of the organ is restored as clearly the person playing hasn't got a fecking clue how to handle this intriguing Neo-Baroque organ.

  • @organist12345 You're not kidding!

  • This is excrutiatingly painful.
