@GerZah Yeah, Apple stuff is generally pretty good in respect to usability. Well, the ipad is one of the first better-known tablets, I'm sure these issues will get better with time.
Also, touch screen keyboards will always be strange to type on, tactile feedback is SO important for comfortable typing.

Very informative and well thought out review. I'll have to see what I think about it when my arrives.........on July 9th(due to high demand).

I thought a little about and tested something. And than I remembered that they put every time foot on a table and so is the angle to small that the iPad slides down and you can type good. And your angle is to big for that.

Interesting! That's why I want to be a (cognitive) ergonomics specialist.

@Cataglyphis As Apple is utilizing a lot of usability tests before releasing a product, I am convinced that they know about this typing problem. Otherwise, why'd they advertise the possibility of attaching Bluetooth keyboards? :) However, this doesn't solve the problem of having a nice screen position - so you'd need a dock. Having the screen in the dock means a very unnatural position to use finger tips and gestures.
Bottom line is: The iPad is not so much made for typing.

I typing at the iPhone mostly with two thumbs, because it's the fastest way and some times with only the right thumb.
I'm not sure how I typing on the iPad, but your problem seems to be logical.
P.S. Nice that you vlogging again.
