  • You do the behind the back swing (360s like this or pendulum swings like Karl's video) for time.

You can also do single arm swings and walk the Macebell as well (hand over hand walk down the shaft to the bell while maintaining plank position).

The nature of the Macebell's engineering also allows you to use it for EXTREME sledgehammer work outs, all you need is an old tire! There a many more exercises as well but mastering the basics are important first.

  • Barnett rules!! I wish the UFC would pay him what he deserves. Barnett, Khartinov, and Aleksander are better than Tim Sylvia & Couture

  • RIP Karl Gotch. King of catch.

  • Barnett does even better in the cage then the ring i don't see too many people beating him unless they get lucky with a early strike but even thats gonna be harder because his striking is getting evn better i saw him sparring at CSW and his footwork combos and head movement are getting better by the day.

  • @Smokeallday47 torqueathletic website.

  • i do the macebell work with a sledgehammer and have done so for a couple of years and it works great, the only thing is that it's hard to find good sledehammers over 6kg

  • Barnett is a serius athlete

Is he a non Native American ??

  • Barnett is one of the greatest of all time, he stopped the great russian Aleks emelianenko, and i hope he wins the SF HW grand prix tourney! go josh go!

  • that equipment is called a "MACE" or the indian word for it is called a "MOOKDAR"

hanuman (the monkey god used it)

  • You can hit yourself with anything

  • You actually don't need to get much heavier than that for a lot of purposes. Since the weight is farther out it actually delivers a bigger shock to the muscle neurons- i.e. your system receives the weight like it's heavier. A cool trick utilizing that idea is holding a pair of lighter dumbbells (or heavier if you want) on your shoulders and lowering as if in a deadlift. I haven't specifically tried that yet but the theory in general is sound so far

  • No, he's saying he's refusing to use the latest fad buzzword. As in, buzzword that's a fad. i.e. core, which he states.

  • Im thinking the torque could take your arm out of the shoulder socket.

But it looks fun. I want one.
