Well they certainly look like hard workers

I have been thinking about velcro shorts! It can get pretty rough , especially after disking a half a day.

Well Gerald - methinks you might want a seat belt after seeing that bounce.

was it even tripped, because it didn't really loo like it?

@zh11147 I am not sure what you mean "tripped". The disk are set and cutting. We have really hard clay soil here that can't be cut deeply in one pace certain times of the year. We just do the best we can and keep plugging along at it.

Spring started real well here, but no rain for a long time. Drilled oats today and I think I carried as much dust home with me as I drilled. Hay crop is really looking iffy.

Its a little known fact that 9 out of 10 farmers who use horse powered equipent will die prematurly from hemeroids!!!

I figure the mortality rate in this ol' world in 100 percent. I would rather die from hemorrhoids doing what I enjoy than from high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity or any of the other things that are taking people out. I don't think horse farming is as likely to cause hemorrhoids as poor diet and lack of exercise, so I guess I will take my chances. One thing about it, being my own boss behind a pair of good horses isn't as big a pain in the ass as some of the bosses I have worked for! LOL
