Saw Queens back in 2002, great night and hope the rumours of Nicks return are true.

QOTSA will not be god again until nick is back in the band. BRING HIM BAAAAACK none of this era vulgaris bullshit anymore
-

@TheMadnessIsPurpleV2 i love every queens album to me they cant go wrong but it would be a dream come true if nick came back he is an amazing performer and bass player and he brings so much to the queens i love his raw bass lines!!!! fingers crossed!!

@TheMadnessIsPurpleV2 Lullabies was pretty great. Era... not so much. Either way, both albums lack the same power of the first three.

Personally I think that Queens are better off without Nick. Yes, if he did sing in a song or two or even play in a few songs it wouldn't be that bad. But I believe that if he become a permanent member of Queens, it feels like the band would be taking a step backwards. LTP and EV were both outstanding albums and Nick wasn't part of those. Not saying that Nick is a bad performer or anything...just saying.
I cant fucking believe it, people here hate on Nick Oliveri? the same who play bass at the legendary band Kyuss? (With Josh), in two of the best QOTSA albums?, in some of the best underground punk bands (Check the Dwarves) ever?. He is one of the best songwriters of the 90s, a kick ass bass player (and guitar), and AWESOME singer. you guys are all fucking nuts, everybody who knows nick knows that Queens of the Stone Age will be better with hem and his presence...

I think it'd only help QOTSA if nick came back, he's a good bassist, a pretty capable songwriter and one of the few balanced screamers in rock today, although Josh is kicking plenty of ass without him. Lullabies is amazing even without him, and Vulgaris is still great. On an unrelated note, Josh is on fire! I don't think I've seen a better preformance of this song on his part.
