country lane ride + green houses under sea level

just wanted to show you that this part of the Netherlands is below sea level ; huge pumps do their job after it rains and the waterlevel in the canals and rivers gets too high.

@RamblinAround no , 2 ways plus cyclist but this an extreme narrow road because they dont want big lorries on these small dykes

I assume that your houses don't have basements. That is some beautiful countryside. I'm surprised that you can have two-way traffic on such a narrow road.

@RamblinAround If you have a basement in one of these houses , you get a free swimming pool with it , so not good , every 250 or 500 metres there is a piece of hard shoulder , a refuge, so if you see someone coming , you can slow down , and let the other pass.
