@DashKirb ...thanks so much for your reply. I just heard from wj9389 who also shares these same warm memories. All of a sudden I remembered that Sinatra had a regular TV show on Friday nights in 1957...I was always parked on the floor right in front of the set! I hear this and it's 1957, all is right with the world because my Mom and Dad are still young and vibrant - making Christmas the wonder we all later try to recreate...and fail at miserably. I can smell the Amphora...my Dad's pipe tobacco, and Mom's special treats baking in the oven. Oh...how I wish I could go back, just for one day. Originally from "A Jolly Christmas" .. lucky me, I still own the original release on vinyl and it's in mint condition.
