Hold Me Tight and Let Me Cry chapter 15

Nicks pov
chill. i wasnt leaving jenny. i was coming back. but there was one more thi ng i had to do. something for /myself./

i walked up to the side of the house, and looked inside the window, making sure no one would be able to see me from the inside. i saw my mother crying, and my dad's arms around her, comforting her, his wife. i choked up seeing my parents like this. worrying about me. wondering where i was and if i was okay. but i was insanely in love, and im not letting her die. if she dies, i die. i once again looked at my parents faces', knowin g that thisll be the last time i see them for a long time. i whispered "i love you" and let the wind sweep my words away...

I turned back and then, with all the power i had, ran to jennys house.


.. I climbed through the window and again as quieltly as i could, ran to the kitchen. i grabbed the gun, and, this time, without stopping to thin, opened the door and ran down the steps.
"Nick."


Jennys pov
"how'd you get in?"
I was surprised and shocked, he came to save me!!
"i kinda...ehh...ra through your window?"
oh. well that explainec why he was shirtless and bleeding.
"i thought your dad was down here with you."
"he was. he went up a couple of minutes ago. you better hide, he should be back."
"no. im not going anywhere without you."
"nick...youre serious?"
"im not letting you stay here! if he doesnt kill you, youll kill yourself."
"nick what about the band? your family?"
"i dont care. youre more important."
he came over, kneeled down, and started untying me, in absolute silence.
"youre living your dream. youve worked so hard for this. why would you waste it on me?"
nickk had untied the last knot by now, and he looked into my eyes. and whazt i saw in his eyes were pain, anger, hate, love, lust.
"because I love you."
he said it so softly, almost in a whisper, and i caught my breath in my throat, unable to think, see, or hear straight.
he picked me up, and i wrapped my legs around his waist.
"nick, please dont shoot me in the ass."
he smiled and dropped it. and again, placed his hands on front of my back pockets.
"jenny, i am never, ever going to let anything happen to you. you mean the world to me. i am undoubtly madly in love with you."
he pressed his mouth to mine, and i swear to god the world stopped spinning, time froze, and nothing else mattered but me and nick, connected at the lips. i pulled away, smiled, and burried my head in his neck.
"we should go before he comes down and shoots me. or you."
i took my head out of his neck, not wanting to stop smelling his wonderful scent. it didnt matter that he was bleeding. not to me it didnt.
"lets get out of here. even though i think youre crazy."
i climbed off him and jumped to my feet. i bent down, grabbed teh gun, and handed it to him.
"you might need this, chief jonas."
he took the gun from me, smiling. i kissed his cheek, hood his hand, and togeter we ran up the steps.

him first, since he had the gun.
