In the Decide Arc of Bleach, Ichigo daunted by the sheer overwhelming power of his enemies and finds himself lacking. Due to his devotion to his friends and family, he goes into meditation to learn the Final Getsuga Tensho. In his inner world, he is faced with a daunting task: learning to embrace the cause of his fear...his own power...his heart.

Decide was unpopular due to the slow pace of manga releases and about four cheap power-ups for Aizen, the series' main villain and most overpowered character to begin with. However, after rereading Decide and following it in the anime, I saw how the events of the chapters embody the true soul of Bleach. The Final Getsuga Tensho is an act of both complete self-fulfillment and complete self-sacrifice, consistent themes in a show with a constant analogy to Samurai Honor in all but name.
