Im glad to have found this. Im studing "Great war" AKA WW1 and this was apart of my cousrse to analyse the lyrics to this song. Its nice to actually hear the song. It brigs me to the realisation of this time period. THe quality isn't too bad, considering you recoreded it off of a record player. Nice job.
You might want to include in your discription that the words and music are by Charles McCarron & Nat Vincent and that it was Published 1915 by Leo. Feist, Inc.

I am sorry I have no details. I got this song from a radio program that featured old records. This was many years ago.

Was it recorded straigh after the sinking? My great grandmother and granfather sailed on her from the States sometime in November 1914. I've failed to get a record of it though. Any suggestions?

Hello
That was my reason for posting this song. I feel history is sound and music, not just names and dates. Check my other ww1 music.
