In Facing the Lower Self, chapter 6 of The Undefended Self by Susan Thesenga, the concept of evil is discussed in terms of it resulting from 'simple' numbness, where we manage to unhook the cause of something from it's effect, and are then able to fabricate new cause and effect justifications and rationalizations based upon personal agenda and need. • are you part of the pathwork? I have the book but it's kind of hard to read

  • @makalavena ; Yes, I am a ceritfied teacher. And yes -- Pathwork is not easy. Yet the same can be said of almost anything -- jobs, parenting, even being a kind and loving human being. The Pathwork lectures have taught me to trust my intuition and follow my heart, by helping me to understand the occasions when these feelings are distorted or misunderstood. Trust yourself; if you are inspired to study the book or the lectures, they will get easier. Jan

  • I appreciate your talks on here, Jan. I'm surprised at the small response, but then, the "Guide" said people have to ask for this. Keep posting these! The path has "set me free", it's what i looked for all my life, what i needed. Blessings.......
