Do I have to bar the top two strings during the verse? Or do I mute them?

In the "He's a Pinball Wizard" phrase there is an F# between the E & B chords changing from the E to the F# on the word "Ball" & to the B on "Wizard".

good job . been trying to play this for a while sounds like the original to my ears
-
dude i know how you feel
i felt the same way when i started playing, but it gets a TON easier with practice
Nearly, but you're missing the passing F# in the bridge (E F# B, E F# B, E F# B, G D)
At the key change Pete starts at the 10th fret rather than the open Dsus - it sounds much more consistent that way anyway.
There are a few other subtleties too but they're not easy to type in a message.
Good work though ;-)

This is meant to be an easy version to play for intermediates and not meant to be exactly to the record. There's no point in putting quick changes and long movements up the fret board it puts people off learning. As folk get better they can add the more subtle bits themselves.
