Love Running Wild. Love this song. And I agree with you that death/black metal really doesn't have much artistic value. Power metal's probably my favority, but I listen to just about anything that's good, I'm really a fan of the oldschool bands. Feel free to chat me up if you feel like it sometime. =)

Racer-X, Airbourne, Black Majesty, Cloudscape, DGM, Divinefire (this is a christian band, but they are amazing.), Dream Evil, Fates Warning, Heavenly, Leverage, Lost Horizon, Lordi, Machinae Supremacy, Mercenary, Metalium, Norther, Primal Fear, Pyramaze, Scar Symmetry, Silent Force, Symphony X, Thunderstone, Turisas.

Ye gods man, I was going to see how many I recognized but...pretty much just Dream Evil. >_> I'll have to check some of these out. I'm kinda weird with my music, someone looking at my mp3 player would see bands they'd never heard of (mostly because no one listens to classic metal or techno anymore =P) plus bands that are so mainstream it's a wonder I don't get laughed out of any musical conversations at all (Nickelback, anyone? XD) Don't really care though, we like what we like. =)
