Hey guys any thoughts on the Astro City series in trades? A friend suggested the series to me, but I'd like to know your views on it, if you have read it. Oh by the way AOA rules!!! I'm planning to get the whole series in trades or hopefully an absolute editon.

I've really enjoyed Astro City but will admit that I haven't read it in a while. I have the first couple trades. It's a very good series, well written and very, very smart. Totally unlike most of the stuff on the market these days. :)

Its good to hear that Agent's of Atlas isn't being cancelled. I was looking at August sales figures and I saw that Secret six was 98 out of 100 have you guys heard anything about the status of the book changing....I really hope not

I am really enjoying "Agents of Atlas" and am really looking forward to what Parker has in store for us in the near future. Namely, the crossover with Hercules, Mighty and New Avengers called "Assult on Olympus".

I feel bad that i haven't been picking up this book regularly. I've read a couple issues and really liked them, so i guess this will be another title that i'll have to read in trades. From what my shop owner tells me this book sells pretty well, so i find it strange that it isn't just going to continue. But, Captain Britain sold really well at my shop too and that book got canceled, so whatever.

I guess I will be buying the trade when it comes out. I really need to find a good Comic book shop near me. While trades are cool there is nothing like getting the books as they come off the shelf and following the story as it happens.

great reviews all over the place lots of popular guest stars the dark reign tie in and a real tie in not just the name, dark reign, on the top of the cover ppl had to see this book they just didnt want to read it i just dont get it

love this book just wish they had a regular penciller one that could have done 11 out of 11 issues

It is sad that Marvel did not at least allow AOA to get to issue 12, but I do aggree that #11 was a good way to finish this run and now the count down begins for the series' relaunch.

Watch, when the new AoA ongoing comes out its gonna be 3.99. Then marvels gonna pimp it out like a sleazy whore.

Its gonna be a sad day when 3.99 is the standard for all comics.

i was reading mighty avengers and when they were fighting the scarlet witch/loki one of the avengers rush's in BUT clint barton of all people stops thaat person and teel em that its not smart to just RUSH into things...WTF????
