  • That voice gave me chills! So well set up by the calm and reserved tones of voice leading up to it.

  • Thanks!

  • I loved the effect of the light moving along the trees making shadows in the snow, very creepy... The hole video had great continuity but the dialog was strange.

I comend you actors for being out in the cold and doing that scene pretty well.

  • The dialog is directly from H.P. Lovecraft's story so it obviously doesn't translate very well to modern speech. The quicktime on our main site shows the shadows much better by the way.

  • I must admit, as a fan of Lovecraft, you lads did his work honor. Truly a good video representation of The Statement of Randolph Carter. The look of terror on Carter's face and the horrid voice were both very well done.

  • YOUUU FOOOOOOOL WARREN IS DEAADDD

  • @vitaminart Yeah, I was expecting one of those electronically deepened voices. This sounded more like a guy shouting in an echo chamber.

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!! THAT VOICE SCARED THE HELL OUTTA ME!

    awesome film, really awesome.

  • kool

  • Love the lighting really nice job on that. I am not sure if this was supposed to be an updated version. The clothes and technology seem to lean towards modern, but the speech is left mostly how it was in the story. Also confused about the voice's origin at the climax. Also, fire your boom operator.

  • haha that was awsome

    well done...

    poor randolph.. haha

  • I thought this was a really good, shortened adaptation. Only thing I had opposition towards was the sound quality and the "voice",but otherwise it was a splendid take!
