I recently purchased two units of the Cold Steel Inferno Pepper Spray in its 7 gram Pen configuration. Cold Steel also offers Inferno in an 11.3 gram Keyring Unit, a 1.3oz can, a 2.5oz can, a 3.5oz can, and the big momma, the 10.5oz can. I chose the pen unit because I think it's the easiest to carry around, and while it may be the smallest, it's more than good enough for what it is intended to be used for.
I purchased mine with the thought of dog attacks in my mind. I'd rather spray a dog than stab a dog. Like I say in the video, it's better to tell the dog's owners you had to pepper spray their dog, than it would be to tell them you had to kill their dog. And, sure, if you killed the dog with your knife, you would be in the right as long as your life was legitimately in danger, but even still, pepper spray is a good option to have.
The only thing I really dislike about the pen units are the fact that the cap doesn't stay on very securely. But I do believe that can be easily remedied with some tape around the inside.
Overall, it's a great product. It's easy to conceal--seeing as it looks exactly like a pen. It's very inconspicuous. This size may not hold much, but it's more than enough. It's size makes it easy to carry--and what's the use if you don't have it with you when you need it?
