On the 70th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, AT&T employee volunteers presented a Supermarket Sweep to benefit veterans served by Volunteers of America's Veterans Transitional Housing Program. Media personalities and AT&T employees gathered almost $6,000 worth of food and toiletries at the Rouse's on Tchoupitoulas during several exciting minutes of mad-cap scrambling through the aisles. All the items go to the 56 formerly homeless veterans served by the program. This coverage is from WDSU, WGNO and WWL.
