Hey @judge6754,What the FUCK do you think you know about Vietnam? You're a stupid Son of a Bitch if you think WE lost in Vietnam. YOU are obiviously speaking out of your ass! I was there. If you weren't you are either too old, too young, or had a daddy like Dubya Bush to keep you out on deferrment! I know one thing about you, though, just from reading some of your shit-you are definitely TOO stupid to know what you are talking about! WE didn't lose anything! The politicians did.

My father was in the 4th ID at Pleiku. He spent 2 years in Vietnam. I spent 2 years in Iraq. I finally understood a lot of the things he used to say to us kids.
Good bless you Vietnam Vets

I flew into Cam Rahn Bay in July, 1968, went to A-Troop, 2/1 Cav, Firebase Blackhawk. In September, 1970, I left D-Troop, 2/1 Cav to return to the states. For 2 years and 2 months, the only thing we heard, outside of Vietnam, was Wonder Dog.

@judge6754 It's stupid that you think the war was won, I'm sure you're not an idiot and I don't respect many people more than I respect Vietnam War vets, but it's ridiculous to think that Vietnam was won, sending troops into a foreign and different country to fight their population with no real forseeable goal is futile. That is something that should have been learnt after Vietnam, but American troops just pulled out of Iraq, a war almost identical to Vietnam and it is fucked.

@PrivateJoker17 Thank you for calling an American war vet an Idiot. The country needs more people like you.

@judge6754 You won the war? You're an idiot. South Vietnam was taken over by the north, America and Australia pulled out, they lost, we didn't win anything. The most futile war until the Iraq war, the US government doesn't learn its lessons.

@moreshittoremember "titty mtn"? Never heard that one but can see it since you mention it. lol. My company was at Engineer Hill, on the other side of Pleiku from D Mtn. I think we were safer on the Mt. with the 4th below us. Never got mortared while up there. But then again---NEVER got mortard the previous 18 mounths while in Germany!!! You are right tho...We ALL did our duty the best we could. We were young...we were soldiers. We, unlike many were lucky....we made it home with our eyes open.

@GiveMeLiberty2 h Hey Soldier...I drove truck for 4th supply and transportation, from qui nhon up through an khe pass, out to kontum, dakto, oasis, jackson hole. but i still managed to draw titty mtn guard once a month. looking back over the last 42 years that had to be one of the biggest mind fucks of my life...and i slept in the rear with the gear a good part of my tour, unlike the 11bravo who took it on the chin his whole tour. we all performed our duty the best we could..god bless everyone
