vs

"Tahlon"
Style: Muay Thai
Weight: 63kg
Height: 5'9"
Country: Thailand
Previous Professional Fights: 10

Full Muay Thai Rules. Punches, Kicks, Knees, Elbows and Clinching is permitted. 5 Rounds, 3 minutes each round.

So there's all the pre-fight info for you guys. But I am pretty sure I horribly misspelled my opponents name, because I had to write it from ear since I don't read Thai.

I used only Taekwondo in this fight, like always. I wanted to wear my custom TKD kickboxing shorts, but I had to wear shorts with the logo of the camp that I was representing ("Tiger Muay Thai", which is an excellent training camp that I recommend to martial artists of all styles). My opponent was also taller and heavier than me, and also has much more professional fighting experience than me seeming as how my pro record was 0 before this fight.

Hope you guys enjoy the fight. Thanks for all the support from everyone! Oh, and on another note, "Jomhod" was sitting in the stadium that night!

Filmed and Photographed by Robin Merrill of "TKO Car & Bike Co." in Phuket, Thailand.

And lastly, to clarify: I am a Taekwondo stylist who uses formal, sport and modified Taekwondo techniques in the ring (including TKD punches, kicks, knees and elbows). But I still admire and respect all other traditional and modern martial art styles.

  • is it legal to use those kicks y muay thai..?¿'..hahaha bro you were doing muay thai and tkd..a remix...lol

  • @MrParangaricutirimi I was using Kukki/W.T.F. TKD under Muay Thai rules. I wasn't using Muay Thai techniques at all. There's nothing wrong with Muay Thai techniques, it's just not my style. It is what it is.

  • nice!!!

Were hands banned in this one? No punches seemed to have been thrown

  • @wushuollie My opponent threw 2 or 3 punches at the start, and I threw 2 setup punches. 1 of which was interuptted by my opponent's kick. We each also threw 1 knee during the 2nd clinch, and he threw 1 upward elbow that missed on the way into the first clinch.

  • @Crixuz09 rules in a match dont determine what style u can use, they determine what you can do period. U can do wing chun in a muay thai ring if u dont break the rules, u can box, kickbox, ect. Just dont break the rules. in a jujutsu match, u can use wreslting, in a wreslting match u can use jujutsu, just dont break the rules. its about rule set, in a muay thai match u can kick, punch, clinch, and sometimes knee. TKD can do all of those things, so it doesnt break the rules.

  • @kwonkicker ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you are that kwonkicker guy! i have seen you on youtube vids before!

  • HAHA you absolutely battered him, you are much the better fighter! nice work :)

  • AWESOME KWON! nice kicks used in a real matchup. some obvious weight difference there but great performance!

  • before i finish this video, win or loss, your a thousand times better a martial artist then he is. Simply because of the respect you showed him at the start of the fight, and the lack of respect he showed you.

  • Is he dead ?
