Thanks! It seems YT does a much better job of deleting great classic music than videos of skanks performing softcore acts. Go figure.

Wow I didn't realize there were other versions of this song. I am familiar with the Randy Crawford one. Didn't realize MJ and Pointer Sisters had their own similiar sounding versions.

Just got my copy. Other Pointer albums are already rereleased on BBR. Pointer fans, you must buy the Break Out double deluxe CD, with all remixes, single cuts, 12" and import mixes. Nonstop dance party!

@MrZachman7 I meant to type...original album.

The UK label Big Break Records recently released a double CD special edition of their Break Out album, which includes the originally album. The original has this track on it. I finally get to have this great song on CD. I'm buying it next week.

The first 31 seconds of this song are epic. Love it. Remember listening to this as a kid!
It is strange but that song is not on the CD but on the LP.

@hawkhulk If you have the LP with it on it, that's really cool. Because most of the copies floating around have "I'm So Excited" instead of "Nightline." The CD reissue maintained that second tracklisting instead of the first.

Just listened to the MJ version and although it's a great vocal performance the production is weak - personally think Randy's version is best followed by the Pointer Sisters
