  • my bolt sometimes sticks so hard after firing that i have to put it on the ground and kick it open.... how do i fix this?

  • @USFCARTWRIGHT Clean the cosmoline out of the chamber, and make sure your bolt has been completely cleaned/oiled. That should help.

  • I guess "rapid fire" is all relative.

  • @gruelin1 It is. Rapid fire with a bolt action is a little slow if your used to semi auto.

  • now try it keepin her soldered.

  • @mxf7010g8k Yep, did that. I'm slightly slower with that shouldered though...lol.

  • @USFCARTWRIGHT Also if cleaning it doesn't help then, as far as I remember, the gun has spurs inside it or something along that line where practically use has taken its toil and the gun is done. I remember that during the mosin project with nutnfancy he had to get another one because of that reason.

  • @545Krinkify thats kinda hard to do with a straight bolt dumbass

  • @545Krinkify It's harder than it looks because of where the bolt is located.

  • @545Krinkify I saw a video on here where this guy goes through some mosin handling tricks, and he mentioned kinda moving his fingers up over the receiver to get a better grip and then working the bolt while still maintaining cheek weld. Looked like a pretty good tactic. I take it 700s are mighty smooth? haha

  • @545Krinkify from what I've seen (haven't got my mosin yet...YET) most people have trouble with the bolt when they keep their cheek on the stock. It's just an awkward angle for the arm & hand to move and apply force as compared to dropping the gun a few inches, yknow? But It would help if the shooter could do that without hassle, obviously.

  • Your speed is quite solid, but try to keep the rifle at your shoulder at all times. If the enemy sees you lower your rifle like that, they might take the initiative! I find a little extra leverage is neccesary when keeping the rifle at the shoulder, so I grab the whole bolt handle and crank it left then palm it open and closed.

  • "Im proud to own a Mosin Nagant, where at least I know im protected! I wont forget the men I shot, who tried to rob me! And id gladly shoot, any robber and defend you goods today! Cause there ain't no doubt I love this gun, God bless the Mosin Nagant! From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee. Across the plains of Texas, From sea to shining sea. From Detroit down to Houston, and New York to L.A. Well there's pride in every owners heart! (Thats the best I can do... lol I tried)

  • @545Krinkify Like the description says: Just a little fun with the M44. :)
