  • some really nice rails there by spart1e!

  • I think what he is trying to say, that you need a different mindset for a pc than you need for a console. Both can be extremely high levelled. But since PC games usually are a bit faster, I think pc-games do indeed ask more of you. But it's not really a comparison that can be made.

  • @cubajon That's kinda silly, you're suggesting that the pro gaming scene is a deterrent for the opposite sex on a pro Quake live video! Plus I wasn't competition level I just scrimmed every day.

  • @TheParadux

MLG HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA sorry..to me it's just wrong to write that you where part of MLG proudly like that..keep it on down low, they you might get your penis wet by vaginal juice one day

  • @siesonekmk Is a pro Quake player more skilled that a pro CS player? No, it's a very different profession with a completely different skill set. They only similarity is they are both FPS games. This applies to console and PC too!

I will agree with you that COD sucks competitively. Hence it has no real competitive scene.

  • @TheParadux ShadowRun was a perfect example. MS has cross games between 360 and PC players and soon found out that was a bad idea. Hey look I play both PC and 360 games, I am just saying that the skill differences are way higher and PC players are better than console FPS gamers.

  • @siesonekmk Why do I need to prove that I play competitively? I'm not posting links to my accounts on youtube. I could easily post accounts that weren't mine anyway. I was part of the Halo 2 Hardcore and MLG scene for years and was in several clans then. I played Halo CE PC, Halo 2 PC, Halo 3 and Halo Reach online. ALLOT!

My Quake Live account has a significant amount of play on it and I'm a member of QUK (not that I need to be in a clan or anything to play competitively!)

  • @siesonekmk Console players would get raped everytime buy a PC player in the same game? No. Halo CE for PC is an example of a well ported game that works well on both control systems. Mouse and keyboard is an advantageous system over control pad in this case, but since the two don't play against each other why is it comparable? Post your evidence. Halo CE was not playable online on Xbox but was on PC.

PC and console games are in different leagues, both have competitive sides.

  • @TheParadux If you do indeed play competitvely, what do you play under and backup your claim with proof. Links with your clan, league and stats. Until then you are just someone claiming to be a competitive player.

  • @TheParadux Im saying console players would get raped everytime buy a PC player in the same game. I also don't agree onm what you said. I watched a hardcore Halo console player against a hardcore PC halo player and the 360 player got super owned even though he was top ranked in Halo.

Skills aside a controller is no match for a mouse and keyboard plus with all the help (auto aim, bigger hit boxes, slower game speed, etc) a console gamer has no where near the skills as a PC player.
