I worked with someone diagnosed with Down Syndrome for 3 years. I have no number of what her IQ (mind) was, but she greeted me with a smile everyday, her heart was full of love and she could easily light up a room at any time. She was non-judgmental, kind, thoughtful and got along with everyone. She was also a blessing to many around her and I considered her a good friend. If more people were like her, this world would be a better place.
