I -love- the interplay between the FM voices and the PCM voices on this! It sounds like Brinstar Green from Super Metroid meets something from Shinobi III. The Neo Geo was such an awesome hardware platform! :-) I really wish they had stuck with this simply magic SNES + Genesis formula in their later games, and not went chasing after the CD-Rom sound. They managed to pull it off...but there's no magic in sounding like CD-Rom. It's a loss in my book. :-( Thank goodness we have early gems like this
