Plus the clouds seem to require a lot of extra processing power (which I'm sure is not a fault to you because you have the uber-best-quad-processor-computer-in-the-world, but for many people I'm sure it makes the program lag A LOT).

You're most likely baffled because you're too stupid to formulate a coherent response. I'm not saying there are absolutely no possible reasons for the cloud feature (although I personally don't have any). I'm just saying when the point of the program is to show you features of the ground, it's not that helpful to put something in the middle of your view of the ground. I couldn't find an easy way to turn them off. But I don't really care because I can just use Google Earth which is better IMHO.

Wow, what a stupid, anoying feature. Yeah it's kind of cool looking but why would I want to have somthing blocking my view of the earth? Kinda defeats the whole point of the program. And there doesn't seem to be any way to turn it off. Good job Microsoft.

Ok this is cool in a flight sim, but why would I want to see _less_ than normal with clouds in the way in GE/VE?
