Your not paying any extra for the game or the mp that come with the game already. Extra content should be paid for why should people make more things for free no company makes extra content for free. @killerbung Actually companies do. Also it all boils down to greed. Let me direct you to a few sites. fallout3nexus, skyrimnexus, newvegasnexus, tesnexus, oh how about all the quake 3 MAPS FOR FREE. That is right, believe it or not there are THOUSANDS of quake 3, CS:S, TF2, and other maps out there all for FREE. Where your beloved company sells you 5 maps that take no time at all (they recycle models, takes no time to play them on map) and rips you at 15 dollars a map. (C)

This is exactly why I don't own any Sony or MS consoles. I don't even on a Wii, although I kind of want one for the bowling, tennis & golf....and maybe SMB Wii, because Nintendo had the brains to bring back a side scroller. But paying a monthly fee to play MY EFFING CONSOLE?? Hell no!!! Games are so crappy these days that I may go a whole year without purchasing one....but if had a XBreak or a POS3, I would still have handed them $100 a year JUST TO PLAY THE DAMNED THING!!!

What's really incredible is the shit they're actually trying to sell to you as part of their "service". Tracking of game statistics, groups and clans, "free" DLC, and a lot of other inane features. Many developers already offer statistic tracking free with their games, the clan service does nothing but turn a free, user-run system into something that you need to pay into their service for if you want to be "official", and you must be delusional to think that you'll profit from the "free" DLC.

I really hate Activision and COD in general. Every damn company is trying to copy what they do because these stupid games sells like hot cakes. So if they do a monthly fee...a lot of company will do it because they are telling themselvees "we do it because CALL OF DUTY DID IT !" What is going to happen is that there will be a final nail in the cofiin and the industry will CRASH once again. After that, gaming will be back at square one and the companies will think "well, maybe we went too far".
