Guide Cindy took us to a restaurant directly on Tunxi Ancient Street frequented by locals and one of her favorite places. The inside decibel level was beyond belief and as fast as people got up from their tables, they were cleaned and filled again. The Chinese subscribe to Travels With Sheila's favorite method of restaurant eating. "Come...eat...and leave." No messing around.

One level had counters filled with samples of what was on the menu and Cindy went to browse. Watch the video for what we ate and if you are in Tunxi, look for a restaurant that you enter between long strips of plastic next to a modern restaurant that is floor-to-ceiling glass. You won't be sorry... So good that we ate there two nights in a row.
