Comparing Bear and Les is like comparing apples to oranges. Bear purposely gets himself into situations and shows you how to get out of them (like jumping into quick sand or ice water). Les survives for 7 days using what he has, just like any lay person caught in that kind of situation would. Bear teaches, while Les' approach is more trial and error on his own. So really, it doesn't matter if Bear sleeps in hotels or not, but it would matter if Les did. Two different types of shows!
IMO it shouldn't be called man versus wild if the man goes back to a comfortable hotel at the end of the day, or if he goes and does a scene of a volcano.....at a tourist attraction with plenty of people around.
true. but i think bear got suckered in by his contract of course he can do all the shit. but anyway it is an action packed show (im sure he would rather cook some of that shit) anyway he has a new show he says will be more transparent. Lets hope cause he has the skills i just wanna see him use them without the backlash and other shit. BTW I love survivour man. and he isnt your average guy (hell most would have no idea) Also lve the bush tucker man and mears. Sry but i do. all different all good
nah, they basically do the same: get into situation, get out again. the difference is: stroud does it in a reasonable manner, bear does a lot of fucked up things along the way 'hey look, i'm cool, i'm covered in mud'. the second difference is: stoud is authentic and does it on his own, bear fakes the whole thing.

The Georgian swamp episode is funny when he's mocking The Bland Witch Project.
