Malaysia Travel & Tourism Conference

Kuala Lumpur, 27 June 2008 -- The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) will be having its annual conference over two days starting today at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
This year's conference theme of "Travel Secrets Revealed" aims to educate MATTA members on the challenges of doing business in an increasingly globalised and flat world. A panel of experienced and exciting speakers such as Anand Tilak of Google, Alex Rajakumar of Commonwealth Tourism Centre, Dato' Dr. Raja Mohamad Abdullah DPTJ of OIC Tourism, Dan E Khoo of WCIT 2008, Vincent Kok of Virtual Malaysia, Vice Presidents of MATTA and highly experienced trade professionals to give an insight on how to meet these challenges.

Understanding the way consumers use the internet as a platform for their travel needs has become the key to purchasing relevant keywords for the right kind of exposure, thereby reaching the right customers at the right time. Engaging consumers with web utilities become a major component in transacting the purchase and sealing the deal with e-payment.
