@NickandThaisy Eh, I have to disagree with you. While I'm sure John McCain doesn't observe all the prescriptions of his adopted Baptist church, he comes across as at least somewhat devout. If he really had no religious inkling, he kind of made an odd choice in joining the Republican Party. Of course, there are both religious and non-religious politicans within the Republican Party, but I think it would've been less awkward for him to have professed no religion if he had ran as a Democrat.
