What Obama is just now being criticized for is something that he has been saying since 2004. There has even been a book written about the notion that working class folks are fed up with the government and therefor vote on the issues that are close to them. This is not news unless your campaign is so desperate to smear a fellow democrat because you have thrown everything else at him...or if your a republican scared to death because you know your senior citizen nominee doesn't stand a chance against Barack Obama

The narator is trying to help Obama get out of this mess. But neither can do it. I would like to hear how Obama explains how the inner city people vote. In every large city the inner city votes Democratic. Is this due to economics?, they are largely on welfare, therefore this might explain how they vote.

Obama is right. They do make cultural things like guns and faith the central voting issue when they don't believe that ecconimic problems can be solved. And yes, many of them resort to racial scapegoating to deal with ecconomic problems as well.
