Newer Bond machines have a "sponge" this added feature makes the needles keep their places more uniformly. This is a great improvement to the machine. For those of us with older machines without this feature it is an easy addition that enhances our knitting in general. It also makes KP1 issues a thing of the past. :D

I would also like to discover what did you use for sponge on your Bond? I have the Bond Incredible, Bond Classic and Bond Elite machines.
