  • This couldn't be 1968. Pat Paulsen made a Watergate reference. I imagine this is probably from their 1975 series.

  • That's Super Dave Osbourne aka Bob Einstein

  • We still need the smothers brothers on TV. They are so funny not just their political skits but all their jokes are great. This is not the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour this is the Smothers Brothers Show. It came after the comedy hour. Thanks so much for posting this this is great. Where did you get it?

  • bedirty, I was around when the Smothers Brothers were current, but I don't remember this skit. It goes to show the more things change, the more they remain the same. I embedded it in my article,

'From: “I’m As Mad As Hell and I’m Not Going To Take It Anymore” In The Spirit Of ’76 – To: “We Have Had It” In The Spirit of ’11'

Google that and it will bring you to it. Thanks.

  • Marty Funkhouser from curb your enthusiasm is on this!

  • From '68 or the 1975 specials, it ws so far ahead of it's time. People think that Nostrademaus could predict the future. The mention of terror, all though no stranger to the 70's, is of course today in our living room more often than Vietnam was then. And the Rap thing, They didn't get that from MC Hammer.
