It was a wonderful combination of writers, performers, directors, special material musical writers -- all under the incredible vision of George Schlatter. We certainly need a Laugh-In now. BTW you'll see a photo of me and fellow writer in the Jokewall at my site rowbyvideos (I can't put in the .com). My entire TV career was started by George Schlatter when he hired me as a writer for Laugh-In. ...Rowby

Hi, Laugh-In was shot on tape but its initial edits were made on black and white kinescope film. The finished kinescope used as the guide for the final editing of the 2 inch video tape, which was literally cut with razor blades under a microscope. The blooper reel was taken from the B&W kinescope. How do I know? I was one of the writers on the Laugh In series. ...Rowby Goren
