Rolling Stones - Around and around 1964

with a comment by Carlo Little, translated to german
(see his homepage http://www.carlolittle.com/)

in 1962 Brian Jones wanted Carlo to work with the Stones,
but he rejected that offer as they were amateurs at that time

Half a year later the Stones appeared on British TV

Rose out of my seat
I just had to dance
Started moving my feet
Whoa to clapping my hands

I said the joint was a rocking
Goin' round and round
Yeah, reeling and a rocking
What a crazy sound
And they never stopped rocking
'Til the moon went down

(Instrumental)

Yeah at twelve o'clock
Yeah the place was packed
Front doors was locked
Yeah the place was packed
And when the police knocked
Those doors flew back

But they kept on rocking
Goin' round and round
Yeah, reeling and a rocking
What a crazy sound
And they never stopped rocking
'Til the moon went down

And they go on rocking
Goin' round and round
Yeah, reeling and a rocking
What a crazy sound
And they never stopped rocking
'Til the moon went down

  • Thank you, Andrew Loog Oldham.

  • Why doesn't Keith get more credit as a guitarist? Sure is Berry riffs but this is SLAMMIN. No other band was this hard back then.

  • nocolour video- why only 4 ? where is Bill?

  • @SuicidalDipper - I'm with you! I have to say I am a recent Keith convert as I used to think it was all Brian's doing but after reading Life by Keith I honestly have changed my views... Keith was the man, guitar wise, for the Stones and lays down some righteous Berry licks...

  • Wow what a bunch of fucking retards women were at these shows. You ladies are still stupid cunts, too, btw. If I had a cunt I would be mortified to view one of these old shows from the 60's, total disgrace you twats.

  • la chilindrina en 1:59

  • @NixKuiper O shut up.

  • They stole this song from Chuck Berry. lol. Ways of the world. COPYRIGHT!!!!!!

  • @portlandjohn8 ummm..WRONG...they still rocked on1972-73, the most outrageous hard rocking touring era by the stones ever, no "around the clock " sing a long tunes but stomping raw anthems such as gimme shelter and adrenaline trashers such as "all down the line" & "bitch", they rocked...and even harder by that time...AND twice with the help of their horn-sax section, charlie's new drum skills and mick taylor's heavy hard rock - blues based playing with keith's hard working punk like riffs

  • Keith is the man. Looking like he's having the time of his life playing Chuck's riffs.
