Some shots i took of the wild brown trout i caught fishing small dry flys for a couple of hours one evening in july 2010 on my local small stream in Lancashire England, The steam was quite low but these perfect little trout gave a great fight and were a real challange on my 7 foot 3# weight Grays Oracle brook rod. All the little fella's were caught on barbless hooks, hooked cleanly, handled with the upmost respect and care, all were reterned fighting fit !!!

Hi and thanks , yes they are lovely little trout, wild and real fun to catch.

Flys were small size 18 black or brown very simple midge flys and small size 16 simple may fly both barbless. Tight lines!!!!
