What I love about my rez is how this next generation of teenagers have such a profound respect for themselves...when I was a teen the kids were always into trouble, and those of us who werent were labled as "stuck up", "goody-two-shoes" etc. I was called "she-Thoms" for a long time by one of my cousins(like Thomas off Smoke signals). Now, the mentality has done a complete 180, the kids who aren't into the culture and changing the dysfunctional dynamics imposed by non-natives are the anomly :)

@giglyboyo Acutally, It's called a "tribal card" each tribe has a different one, and yes my mom does pay taxes, because she does not live on reservation, Yes we have gotten money from the government due to our land being stolen, but it wasn't much (2,000$). I don't know your ethnicity, and I'm not a racist, bias ignorant person, so I'm not coming back with anything, like what you just told me. Just know, you're an illegal immigrant technically on my people's land.So, this convo is over.
